Cents-Ability

Donate two cents a meal to the Presbyterian Hunter Program and see how all our pennies add up to help those in need! Collection banks to put on your table are available in the church office. There is a sign-up sheet on the chapel bulletin board. Put your coins in the bank and bring in your offering quarterly.

Presbyterian Coffee Project (Equal Exchange)

Fairly traded coffees and teas are now available to purchase during the coffee fellowship time. A joint project of the Mission Committee and Presbyterian Women, there are six types of coffee in 12-oz. bags and three kinds of tea in boxes of 25 bags. Stop at the table with the Equal Exchange sign for more information. The coffee served during the fellowship time has been purchased through this program. We support this model of fair trade that is built upon fairness to farmers and encourages ecologically sustainable farming practices.

Tutoring Program

The in-school or after-school tutoring program will continue in the fall. More volunteers are needed. If you are interested, please pick up the forms for the necessary clearances at the church office this summer.

First Sunday Food collection

Bring your non-perishable food contributions the first Sunday of the month and drop them in the collection boxes in the narthex or the the chapel. Our bags of groceries go to the Fayette County Community Action Food Bank. Our giving improves the lives of those who are less fortunate. Thank you for your support.

Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers of Fayette, Inc. Trinity Church was the founding organization for this independent volunteer agency offering assistance to those over 60 in our community. Today it is supported by faith congregations, individual donors, area businesses and foundations, SWPA Human Services Area Agency on Aging, and the United Way of South Fayette, Inc. Trinity continues to offer financial support and provide volunteers.
